History
Launched as DTR Medical on 1st June 2005, the aim was to establish a successful medical device manufacturer of own branded sterile disposable products for use in selected surgical specialities. The company originated in 2002 as a cleanroom contractor called DTR Technologies. The business primarily provided extra capacity for a rapidly growing local company called Shield Medicare.

DTR Medical has two distinct sides to the business: We manufacture our own DTR Medical branded single-use surgical instruments, and also provide cleanroom contract manufacturing services for a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
