Klerzyme Enzyme Cleaner

Klerzyme digests the protein residues that ordinary detergents may find difficult to remove. Safe to use, Klerzyme is non irritant and non corrosive so it minimises the risk of damage to personnel and instruments.

Klerzyme is an aqueous mix of enzymes that will break down organic matter and user experience has demonstrated that a 20 minute soak in Klerzyme is effective even at cooler temperatures, or in water with a high mineral content.

As it is low foaming Klerzyme can also be used safely with detergents in washing machines and in ultrasonic baths. Klerzyme is biodegradable and bacteriostatic. It is available in a variety of sizes from 2.5L to 25L.

(a) In a sink

60ml of Klerzyme should be diluted with 10 litres of hand hot water. Soak the instruments for at least 3 minutes, longer if they have been stored in a soiled condition. After immersion, rinse the instruments thoroughly with clean water.

(b) In an Ultrasonic Cleaner

Add 60ml of Klerzyme to 10 litres of water. Klerzyme works best between 30 and 60 degrees C. It is recommended that the tank is drained and refreshed daily. After immersion, rinse the instruments thoroughly with clean water. 

(c) In automatic cleaning machines

Add 60ml of Klerzyme to 10 litres of water. The low foam formulation gives good results and the neutral formulation means it is suitable for both the instruments and the machine.

(d) For Fibreoptic Endoscopes

Add 60ml of Klerzyme to 10 litres of hand hot water. Flush through and leave to soak for at least 3 minutes, longer for heavily soiled instruments, where repeat flushing maybe required. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. 

(e) In Autodisinfectors

Use Klerzyme in the wash cycle at the dilution rate of 60ml per 10 litres of water. The low foaming properties of Klerzyme make it ideal for this application.
